Starting tips for planning in the Forks

The things I tell every couple at the very beginning. Work through them little by little and the whole thing gets a lot less overwhelming.

  • Start planning right away. Doing it little by little will take the stress away
  • Find a date that works for you and your immediate family
  • Do your research for venues, or hire someone to do it for you 🙂
  • Find your vision
  • Find your people
  • Wedding party (you can start this early and always come back and change)
  • Start your wedding guest list in Excel and organize it correctly
  • Take a deep breath
  • If you’re having a ceremony at a church, start that process
  • Keep searching on Pinterest for inspo and your vision
  • Start an estimated budget — and those dreadful talks about who is paying for what
  • What is your day going to look like? Who is going to be helping you?
  • What is the size of your wedding?
  • Start your wedding website
